Neuchatel is located at the foot of the Jura in the region of the 3-lakes. Discover the beauty of the fauna and flora of the Jura mountains, nature reserves, 3-lakes and many possibilities for excursions.
You do not have to look too far to find different cultural sites. For example, not far from Neuchatel, you can discover the cities of La Chaux-de-Fonds and Le Locle, both recognized as UNESCO World Heritage since June 27, 2009.
La Chaux-de-Fonds is well known for its international watchmaking museums and it is home to iconic characters such as Le Corbusier, Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, Blaise Cendrars, Leopold-Robert and Louis-Joseph Chevrolet.
